Study of the CuII Affinity by Three Chelating Agents of Biological Interest: TPEN, TRIEN and Et2DTC

Copper is an important micronutrient, and it present in some protein structures, as well participate several biological processes. Due to its importance, ligands are used studied like carriers of copper the systems. This work has investigated affinity CuII by three interest: N,N,N,N’-tetrakis (2-pyridilmethyl) ethylenediamine (TPEN), triethylenetetramine (TRIEN), diethyldithiocarbamate (Et2DTC), for this purpose.
